Your Story Matters
In the Spirit of Boudica is an anthology series of real stories from survivors of one of the most widespread social plagues of our time—abuse and family violence. This epidemic, which claims more lives of women and children than soldiers lost in battle since 9/11, also deeply wounds countless men and families around the world.
What is even more distressing is the injustice of those who politically and financially benefit from the continuation of abuse by violating civil rights, ignoring ADA protections, discriminating against victims based on their relationship status to the abuser, and other elements of judicial human trafficking.
Queen Boudica, a leader by necessity in 60 A.D. Britain, rose to defend her children and her people against injustice, oppression, and violence. Her courage united tribes under a shared cause: protecting the vulnerable. Today, we face a similar call to action. Despite our so-called civilization, abuse persists—personally, legally, and systemically—destroying lives in every community.
This anthology is part of a movement to “unite the tribes” once more—men and women standing together to expose systemic corruption, organized exploitation, and covert abuses within courts and human-service systems. These hidden networks—fueled by greed, secrecy, and ritualized patterns of power—continue one of the most preventable human-rights crises of our time.
If you are a survivor, you are not alone. By sharing our stories, we turn pain into power, raise awareness, and begin to break the cycle—for ourselves, our children, and future generations. Your story matters.
